ABOUT ME

I am the benefactor of great parents, and I am forever grateful for my heritage.  I am a third-generation small business owner.  My mother is an educator with over 20 years serving on a school board in Bakersfield, California.  These examples have led me to the field of private wealth management.  I love marrying the teaching and coaching of wealth management while working with small business owners and their employees to achieve transformational wealth.  I have taught a community class on family finance at BYU-Idaho as a non-credit course instructor, and I have taught a series of classes on tax and investment strategy at Eastern Idaho Technical College as a part-time faculty member.

With over a decade of experience in capital markets, I have experience offering best in-class securities and advanced retirement planning strategies to include alternative investments such as real estate, oil and gas, along with structured notes, private equity and venture placements.  My commitment to help clients achieve generational-changing wealth is only matched by my fiduciary responsibilities of operating with uncompromising integrity and fidelity to do what is best for our clients and their families.

WHAT EXCITES ME MOST ABOUT THE FUTURE OF FINANCIAL PLANNING?

I love entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship.  Financial planning offers unique opportunities to create prudent tax and investment strategies to empower small business owners to take their businesses to the next level.  I have run P&Ls across a variety of businesses and industries.  This experience affords me a distinct perspective in financial planning and evaluating investments across a multitude of asset classes.

I have seen first-hand how financial planning diversifies and grows an individual’s wealth allowing them to change the trajectory of their families’ lives.  Because of my family’s example, I strive to be a good steward of their legacy by serving in my church and community.  I have served on the advisory board for the Bonneville County Educational Foundation and multiple charitable organizations.  My family of five means the world to me, and it is an honor to assist others in their personal and financial goals for their families.
